The word Toolkit has been floating around a lot but very few people know what it actually is. The previous toolkit did in fact had a reference to Farmers’ Tractor Rally on 26th January. The Delhi Police Cyber Crime Cell last Thursday filed an FIR on charges of sedition, criminal conspiracy and promoting hatred against the creators of a ‘toolkit‘ on farmer protests. This “”International conspiracy”” theory got momentum a day later when Indian media discovered that Greta Thunberg the Swedish climate activist had shared a toolkit on her Twitter account. Which was followed by Indian celebs from Bollywood to sportsmen/women rallying behind the govt with very similar worded tweets. Then came MEA’s unprecedented response to the criticism calling it an act by “”Vested interests”” interfering in India’s internal matters. Right from Meena Harris, Lilly Singh, Rupi Kaur to NBA, NFL players and Hollywood actors, several have voiced their support to the farmers’ protest. many from the international community tweeted about it. Soon after their tweets, the issue caught international attention. The 32 year-old Hollywood singer and 18-year-old climate activist last week tweeted about farmers Protest. From Television anchors to Ruling party spokespersons, all have echoed the International conspiracy allegation. However, the Centre has refused to do so, saying the laws will revolutionise the agricultural sector.Since Rihanna and Greta Thunberg tweeted about Farmers’ Protest, allegations about “”Foreign Hand”” behind the farmers’ Protest have made a comeback. The farmers want the government to withdraw the Acts and give assurance over the minimum support price (MSP). Thousands of farmers are protesting against the three farm on Delhi borders since November last year. The Government has even offered to keep the laws on hold, and offer iterated by no less than the Prime Minister of India," the government had said in a statement. Union Ministers have been part of the negotiations, and eleven rounds of talks have already been held. "Respecting the sentiments of the protestors, the Government of India has initiated a series of talks with their representatives. Meanwhile, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) had slammed Thunberg for allegedly sharing the toolkit and said that "the temptation of sensationalist social media hashtags and comments, especially when resorted to by celebrities and others, is neither accurate nor responsible".
